  To all those who just got home from the "RC":

  Any comments?

  Have any of you decided that this was your last convention?

  How do you feel this morning?

  Enthused, up built and inspired?

  Ready to do a lot more of "listen, obey and be blessed"?

  Or do you feel just like I did after every convention....... a bit depressed, annoyed, foolish, beat up and feeling like you just got rolled under a bull dozer?

  ?? Question for those that have successfully faded/are out:

  question: can any of you that have successfully faded out of the jw world without being df'd or da'd relate to me/us how you were able to maintain at least one or a few of your "still in" friends or family?

  (and even if you were df'd or da'd and still maintained some relationships, how did that go?).

  obviously, the truly demented, sick and twisted (and highly effective) policies and structure of the wtbt$ to set up a system by which anyone that chooses to no longer believe or participate must be treated as "mentally diseased" and a pariah by their own friends and family is the hands down, numero uno reason why many hundreds of thousands and possibly millions of jw's do not leave.

  at the international convention here i just got off the elevator with anthony morris.

  he was heading to the basement and i was heading up to administration.

  i rode one floor down with him before i went up to my destination.

  Quellycatface- seeing single mothers like yourself trying so hard to do what they *thought* was right was always hard to take. More than anyone else, the single women with kids have it the roughest in the Jdub-land. I truly do have sympathy for all of you that tried.

  Did you ever actually believe the JW fantasy version of "Paradise"?

  i am sure this topic has probably been discussed many times before but,......... i would like reassurance that i am not the only one who gagged every time i heard a jw pontificating on their fantasy version of what "paradise" will be like.

  particularly when it comes to the animals.

  more specifically, that the animals will all become vegetarians.

  3rdgen- yet more JW BS pulled directly out of someone's nether region. We were always told "not to speculate" on the things unknown and yet that appears to be 98% of what comes off the stage or the page.

  The cheese Danish was always a favorite of mine. The couple of years that all the pudding was partially frozen was a real treat in that joyless desert. The rest of the food was horrendous.
